Biased, blessed, and beyond grateful, are some of the emotions felt by looking at these photographs. Family photography is near and dear to our hearts, especially when it involves this, our personal family. Founded on trials of sorts, love, acceptance, and the constant pursuit of learning for growth, there’s room for error. Jose is the leader of the pack. Additionally, he is a retired veteran with a passion for Christ, loving on his boys, and all things plants. Teresa loves reading, writing, and cooking. Jacob spends his time drawing and creating stories, clearly, a writer in the making. Caleb has an engineer mind, constructing vehicles and buildings. Last but definitely not least, Isaac, who’s name means “he laughs”, already has a hearty laugh and happy disposition. Without a doubt, it will be amazing to see who he becomes as he grows, alongside his brothers.
Our Promise, Our Prayer
Our solemn promise and our incessant prayer is that we, Jose and Teresa, continue to guide our sons. To guide them in the direction He has laid out for them as they are. To know that mistakes are allowed, as they are part of the process of growing up. Crying is ok and that we are their confidants when they need trustworthy and loving advice. Above all, we want our sons to know that we will never be perfect, however, we will always try to be what they need to be better than we ever were and our younger years.
Furthermore, and now directly to our boys: God is number one. Secondly, may you be hungrier for God day by day, to know of his knowledge, peace, and the promise he holds for each one of you. Next, to break the generational chains that are woven into their being. Last but not least, to always be men of God against all societal influences and constraints. The rest will come naturally. Amen.
